Dr Ian Pugsley – Patron
Ian is an academic, entrepreneur, and mission enthusiast. After graduating from University of Melbourne, he did medical physics research work in Australia and the United States. He introduced computer technology into Australian universities in the 1980’s before setting up a retail book shop where he helped international students to learn English. He has been an integral part of Transform4Life from its inception, leading the team who set up Transform4Life as a charity to promote the understanding of trauma relief.

David Dyer – Chairman
With many years of service in the education system and administration, David brings
valuable insights into leadership, training and caring.
Maggie Matheson – Secretary and Lead Facilitator
Maggie has extensive experience with trauma initially as an oncology nurse and then her work with street prostitutes and more recently her research into the abuse of women in Central African countries. She is based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Tek C Chew – Treasurer
TC is currently a Financial Controller and Company Secretary of a medium size company in Melbourne Australia. He has a Bachelor of Economics Degree with Honours, Masters in Economics from La Trobe University and CPA. He has more than 30 years’ experience in business finance and accounting. An active and serving member of Crossculture Church in Melbourne.
Dr. VP (Varghese Philip) – Regional Board Chair
A surgeon, pioneer in the field of rural health care, a graduate of the London School of Economics, VP has strategically led several healthcare organisations serving in some of the most deprived regions of the world. He interprets trauma, abuse, and victimization from the unique perspective of Renaissance paintings.
Dr. Sunny Philip – Executive Director and Lead Facilitator
Sunny is a Human Relations specialist, trained in Christian Theology, Leadership, Conflict Management, Relationship Counselling, and Strategies for Trauma Awareness and Resilience. Sunny has researched the topics of burnout, stress, and compassion fatigue.

Amy Karu
Amy has 8+ years’ experience working with not-for-profits of all shapes, sizes and causes to help them grow on digital. She currently works for integrity, a specialist digital agency working with charities.
Dr. Kuruvilla George – Board Member and Facilitator
A psychiatrist with special interest in Aged Person’s Mental Health is a clinical associate profession at Monash University and an adjunct professor at Notre Dame University. He is deeply committed to destigmatising mental health and creating awareness about mental health.
Jibi Thomas Kuruvilla – International Training Director
After graduating in English Literature and Language he went on to do Bachelor of Divinity. He has extensive experience in cross-cultural ministry. He is continues his studies in Psychology.
